I have now updated the widget. In addition to some code improvements, I've added Japanese and Hungarian language - and the widget now has a very basic way to set your own events.
Setting duration of events, and repetition of events, may come in a later version - as well as a few other things.
Thanks rkm, this is really neat. Sometimes I just want to look up something, now I don't have to switch to my TBird calendar anymore. Thumbs up for the many options.
This is just a first version. I intend to make a new one soon, where I'll make some improvements to the code and add a couple more languages. The new version will also allow you to set your own events.

I have made a new update now. I've added Polish and Serbian language, and made some improvements to some of the other language files.
