Just downloaded and works just great on (sorry) win me. My only problem is, and this is my fault, it's running a bit slow. This is a great Widget. Particularly the location identifier.
I am running Opera 9.02, Windows XP Media Center, version 2002. Every time I try to download the widget, I get the following: "An error occurred when applying this widget."
I am using Opera 9.02 (Windows NT 5.1; U; en) and it works fine.
The GMT time is correct but the date is off by one day, when compared to the USGS site (http://earthquake.usgs.gov/eqcenter/recenteqsww/Quakes/quakes_all.php). GMT = UTC.
For example, the M5.3 earthquake in Central Peru on 2006/09/24 01:12:23 GMT is shown as 2006/09/23 01:12:23 GMT on the Widget.
What probably means no connection I think. Is this fault becouse Opera version or what? This widget, its idea is perfect but I will be more happy if it will work on my computer.
This doesn't seem to be working on my computer. I'm running Opera 9.01 on Redhat Fedora Core 5 (x86). I downloaded it, then I get the dialog asking if I want to keep it, but I never see anything. A tab labeled "EarthQuake Map" is added to my task tray, but if I select it nothing happens. If I Alt-Tab to switch tasks, there is an icon labeled "EarthQuake Map", and if I tab to that icon (without releasing Alt) I can see an outline of a window, but there is no content. When I release Alt, once again, nothing shows up (even though the task tray tab for the "EarthQuake Map" appears to be selected).
If I had to guess, it would seem like the EarthQuake Map widget is "appearing" but has no content, and is thus completely transparent...

The display time shifts during one hour.
For example,

By the way why is there a big gray area (about the same size of the worldmap) at the bottom of the widget ?
