WARNING: The development of this widget by me is OVER. Some parts of it or the whole widget may be broken. I cannot remove my widgets, broken or not, once they are uploaded thanks to awesome Opera Software policy ("No, you can't delete your own widgets"). So there you go.
Also from now on my code and graphics in this widget is released into public domain.

This widget shows the security status of the latest versions of IE, Firefox, Opera and Safari. The bars represent how dangerous is the worst unfixed hole (not the number of holes) - the lower a bar, the better security. The data about the vulnerabilities is loaded from Secunia site. It's refreshed once per hour.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The widget by itself DOES NOT make you more secure or protect you from anything. This is a general information accurate only for the latest versions of the browsers. Always use the most current version of your browser and install security patches!

it said i had security holes fo safari, and some other browser.
Thing is, im on a pc, dont have safari or the other browser it said it had.
Im going to delete it.

like a config dialog where you can ad the secunia-product to the widget and then get status for this app too.

Yes seeing Opera being the most secure browser makes me think about W3S' browser statistics. Why so few people use Opera? It can beat any browser (not only in security as well)!

To all those who don't understand why opera is always "the most secure", visit secunia's site a see how thay gather their statistics, i seems to me that it is largely based on REPORTED security flaws.
While Opera may well have a few flaws under the hood, they have not been found or reported. This is probably related the the smaller userbase (bbc here in u.k did a big special on IE alternatives and it was all about firefox, opera didn't even get a mention)and less targeting from people looking to exploit such vulnerabilities.
I am sure that this widget is not an exercise in promoting opera, firefox users ought to recognised that even the best written software has flaws, and they only get fixed when they get noticed.

I have same problem as fs3rp4.
Stay Secure no longer shows number of security holes (Secunia advisories) when hovering over a browser icon. It only reads "Check details".
Should I click on the icon to go to secunia.com to find the number of security holes or, is this something that the one and only grafio is going to fix?

And to the people who think it's just an advertisement: to WHOM? I didn't know Firefox, IE, Safari, Konqueror, etc. users could download and use Opera widgets...
It's simply informing OPERA USERS of the security status of the major browsers. It's not propaganda - if it makes Opera look good, then Opera deserves it!
