RLapper, I totally agree with you. I would rather use a Torrent Search Engine online. Sometimes you can't find everything from just bittorrent and you'll need to look at lot's of downloading sites. That's why I use an online search engine to make it easier. I'm not saying I don't like this widget, I still think it's pretty cool.
Don't see the point of this. Why not go to your favourite torrent search page and just use existing opera functionality and create a search with a keyword?
The BitTorrent Widget loads fine, but each time I actually enter a search, it crashes, and so does Opera (happened 5 out of 5 times so far).
I have tried maybe two dozen different widgets upto now. Most of them worked as intended, some didn't, but the worst behavior I ever encountered was like jumpy mouse response or lacking performance. This is the only one that causes such serious trouble.
Please don't get me wrong - I am describing what happens here to find a solution, not to put anything down. Given the plenty positive feedback above, it looks like an exception anyway.
I'm on Ubuntu, kernel 2.6.15-28. Opera hogs the CPU from time to time, but my system is otherwise very stable. Unfortunately, I don't know an Opera command line switch to enable debugging widgets (i. e. javascript).

My question is, how can I access more choices? There are only about 15 or 20 choices. Is there a way to get the artist that I want?
