A virtual coin for tossing.

WARNING: The development of this widget by me is OVER. Some parts of it or the whole widget may be broken. I cannot remove my widgets, broken or not, once they are uploaded thanks to awesome Opera Software policy ("No, you can't delete your own widgets"). So there you go.

Also from now on my code and graphics in this widget is released into public domain.

Version 2.0 changelog:

added close widget button
added a box for the coin ;-)
new design of the coin
the coin doesn't freeze in Opera 9.5 anymore (there are still some minor problems with coin rendering but nothing serious - it just looks a bit better in Opera 9 for some reason)

Great widget, great idea, but uneven odds. lands on opera side about 66% of time. However, if you can fix the habit it has of repeating the same result 10 times over, it would be perfect. Perhaps you could base the result off of both the computer's clock AND a pseudo-random number, so that the chance is a bit more even

the previous version of golden coin was my favourite widget. By using +Button I could bring it to fullscreen-size. That is not possible with this version. Additionally this new coin is landing on the flipside in about 80 percent of all tosses.

Although I am not a laywer, I believe that while the euro is copyrighted, one is free to reproduce its image under certain conditions (http://www.bundesbank.de/download/bargeld/pdf/reproduktion_anlage_com.pdf - English document regarding the copyright of the Euro). Note that this document speaks of the 'common' side - the national sides may have other rules. But that simply means the national side would be Opera

Displaying on a computer monitor would be a "flat" display, and using it in a widget does not damage or detract from the image of the euro. So I think you could legally make a version of this widget with an actual euro design. Now, whether you want to or not, that's up to you.
