aleto, the czech characters work perfectly now, thanks a lot.

there's still something about the holidays in the czech version... i've noticed that the Easter Monday is set to April 17th, but this is changing every year - it's a minor thing though. some holiday names have spelling mistakes, i can try and correct them - woud you please post here (or send me) the list of the holidays (or the part of the code handling this)?

Could you add the Canadian holidays that I have submitted earlier on this page please? Just use the english name. That would be great.

Ok, the setting problem should be fixed as well as the encoding (if someone how understand czech could check would be nice).

Also now included Columbian and Latvian  .

Thanks for all contributions

I hope that i have some time this weekend to look in this problems about saving settings and encoding.

If you like to look yourself, search for 'setCookie', 'getCookie' and 'clearCookie'.

I have the same problem Icehawk already reported - settings are not saved, it always starts with Switzerland/English :-(
Where are these settings saved, to patch it manually as a workaround? I couldn't find anything ...

i don´t wanna be a pain in the ass... anyway... the czech characters do not work still, as Joker_CZ said some time ago. to be accurate:

"ř", "Ř" is wrongly displayed as "ø", "Ø"
"č", "Č" is wrongly displayed as "è", "È"
"ě", "Ě" is wrongly displayed as "ì", "Ì"
"ů", "Ů" is wrongly displayed as "ù", "Ù"

it is probably caused by the character set... (there are no characters as ø, è, ì, ù in czech, so that this goes for all appearances of this characters.)

second bug: short for Saturday is "So", not "Su" (Saturday is "sobota" in czech)

anyway: the calendar is amazing and thanks a lot for it :o:)

I cannot read russian dates on my german windows. But the rest is readable. Is it possible to make the holidays in unicode too?

発言者 kaa, # 2006/03/28 23:43:21

Very nive widget. Just one thing, Brazilian is not a language, in Brazil they speak Portuguese.

発言者 jofazepa, # 2006/03/23 12:09:05

I cannot save my settings.
I'm using Germany, German, my.opera.
When I close Opera, the widget starts with the default settings.
What can I do?

発言者 Icehawk, # 2006/03/22 11:01:08

発言者 Doliprane, # 2006/03/09 17:41:47

I think this would be really useful if I could add reminders and appointments, until then, I guess I'm stuck with microsoft outlook *shudder*

発言者 bvvad, # 2006/03/06 9:30:09

I noticed that Calendar not updating date by itself. I left Calendar widget on desktop on February 27 and today is Marth 2, but Calendar still showing me February 27...
Need to be fixed.

Hi.
In the Norwegian version Mandag (Monday) is shortened to Mo.. could better be Ma :-)

発言者 frankma, # 2006/02/27 11:18:01

Aleto, you're included obsolete Russian holidays. In 2004 our Parliament (Duma) abolished holidays "День примирения и согласия" and "День Конституции" & introduced new holidays "День народного единства" and "новогодние каникулы" (New Year Vacations). But the rest is ok. Thank you!

発言者 andrew3105, # 2006/02/26 11:59:10

Thanks for all contributions!

(with the russian version i'm unsure, looks strange to me, i included the files how i have received them.)

Hello!
Nice widget  Only couple of fixes for the Czech version:
- "Czechoslovakia" ceased to exist in 1992  The holidays are for Czech republic

- when using Czech language, the "Č" and "Ř" letters are mesed up... propably wrong encoding.

- in setup the text "Week numbers" stays in english. In Czech it's "Čísla týdnů"

発言者 Joker_CZ, # 2006/02/25 20:10:15

On the Norwegian version, it's written "Ukenummern:". You guys in Oslo schould know it's "Ukenummer:".

=) But a nice widget!
